Red Energy promotes free lecture series
Red Energy Public Relations, Advertising & Events recently signed a contract to provide event management, promotion and media buying for healthcare client Dr. John Mehall.
Dr. John Mehall, director of Cardiothoracic Surgery for the nationally recognized Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery Associates, will host a free, monthly community lecture series on various heart and lung diseases from July - November.

Cardiac & Thoracic Surgery Associates provides a wide array of surgical treatments for cardiopulmonary disease, including innovative procedures not offered elsewhere. Dr. Mehall is one of only a handful of cardiothoracic surgeons qualified to perform minimally invasive heart surgery in the Pikes Peak region.
Dr. Mehall received extensive training in robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery. He has been at the forefront of the technologies and procedures associated with minimally invasive surgery, publishing and presenting in a variety of journals and venues.

About Dr. John Mehall
Dr. Mehall received his undergraduate degrees from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and graduated from University of Texas-Houston Medical School. Following his surgical training at the University of Texas and the University of Cincinnati, Dr. Mehall received extensive training in robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. He regularly conducts training courses for other surgeons on minimally invasive surgery and mitral valve repair, and has trained hundreds of surgeons using training programs of his own design and development. In addition to his duties as a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, Dr. Mehall serves on committees of several national professional societies and is on the National Cardiovascular Service Line for Catholic Health Initiatives. Dr. Mehall founded CTSA, Colorado’s largest Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgery group and is the managing director. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology. He has also been voted Top Doc by peers in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. He and his family are actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Foundation, Catholic Charities, the Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center, and other local community organizations.
