As PR professionals, we thrive on sharing our clients' stories to better connect them with their target audience.
We do this by taking their passion, their story and creatively crafting and sharing it through a variety of tactics to get the word out to the public as a means to ultimately create a relationship with their target audience - public relations!
One way in which we love getting their message out, is through strategic media relations. This is done by reaching out to very targeted media reporters that our agency has cultivated long-term relationships with by reading, researching and understanding what stories it is that they want to tell.
Not all media outlets are equal. For instance, you wouldn't share the same story with FOX News that you would with MSNBC. You might, however, find the interest of the reporter and reach them with an element from your client's story that would fall in line with their style of writing.

Through this media/PR relationship, we are able to position our clients as subject matter experts and resources for the writer's story without spending a dime on advertising.
Although we recommend incorporating a combination of communication channels in every public relations campaign, such as media relations, advertising and community outreach, we first and foremost are story tellers.
There's nothing quite like seeing your client listed in their dream publication from a pitch that you sent to a reporter. It's an authentic and tangible result that not only provides your client credibility, but that increases their visibility in a way that ads could never tell.
Afterall, ads tell, stories sell.
