			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently interviewing candidates for our spring 2012 development program.  The Red Energy Public Relations development program is an unpaid internship for currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students seeking university credit for internship courses, independent study or a professional requirement as part of their curriculum. While our interns have come from universities nationwide, priority placement is given to our partnership schools; University of Colorado and Colorado College.  Entry into our program is competitive and applicants are required to submit resumes and work portfolios. Select students will be called for telephone interviews and in-person interviews. <p></em>DENVER&#8211;The Colorado Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) hosted its annual Gold Pick Awards May 6 at the Marriott City Center in downtown Denver, where nearly 50 awards were presented to recognize the state’s top communications professionals, public relations firms, organizations and business leaders.</p>
<p>The evening included nine top awards, including PR Person of the Year, which was presented to Amy Sufak, president, Red Energy Public Relations. The PR Person of the Year Award recognizes outstanding achievement in the Public Relations profession.</p>
<p>Sufak was acknowledged for excellence in her work serving a nationwide customer-base, extensive pro bono work for area non-profits, and the Red Energy Development Program in which she mentors graduate and undergraduate university students who earn college credit through internships at Red Energy. In less than 2 years, Red Energy has added 17 new clients, in various industries including national franchises, technology, entertainment, healthcare, real estate, consumer products and the luxury retirement community industry.</p>
<p>In addition to individual awards, the top public relations campaigns and tactics from the past year were recognized with either Gold Pick or Silver Pick awards.</p>
